Ken Akamura is an independent engineer and consultant with twenty years in cloud systems and .NET. He helps teams ship LLM features to production, maintains several open-source projects, and writes about what breaks in practice.
Long bio · 110 words
Ken Akamura has spent twenty years in engineering: writing code, working incidents in support for large production systems, and advising teams on architecture. Today he works independently — designing cloud solutions on Azure, building integrations between systems that were never meant to talk to each other, and taking LLM applications from prototype to a feature users trust.
He maintains several open-source tools for .NET and Semantic Kernel, writes regularly about engineering practice, and talks about the decisions that went badly as readily as the ones that went well. He works with clients directly, without an agency in between.
